| I'm back from my holiday break. I'm a bit sick so I will not race today. Tomorrow (saturday) I will be there. | |

| Time for a rant...
After 4 failed attempts at a race this week, finally get an official one for the SOF tonight. Been feeling really good here and looking to pick up a good finish. Start fourth, second place has a bad start and get past him on S/F, right behind P2 as I started braking for T1. Then the fucking battering ram from hell decides to use me and two other cars as his brakes. Watching the replay it looks like the fucker never even touched his brakes, just went straight into me at full throttle. In chat he claims he missed his brake point, but I find it hard to believe he could miss it by that much (I started braking at 125m, he was still full throttle when he rammed me at <50m). Well, unless he's just completely fucking retarded, which maybe isn't too far wrong.
So, after 5 days of practicing I have now completed a grand total of 250 meters in an official race. Fucking wondering. Maybe the bastard's related to Grosjean, based on how he drives. Hopefully I can get at least one more race in this week, and one that I can actually finish. Hell, even reaching turn 1 without incident would be an improvement over this crap.
--end rant-- | |

| Scott, that sucks. I believe the replays don't have very good fidelity when looking other cars so it might be that he did brake but the only way to see that would be to see a replay recorded by him. This is also the reason why it is not good practice to learn braking spots by watching replays (unless they are recorded by the driver you are observing). There's tiny lag in everything. I'm pretty sure there will be an official race tomorrow evening also so let's hope we both get good results there! | |

| Yeah i know how you feel :S Happend to me 2 times last season ... some guys goes racing without proper practice and instead they start from pit they start on track and win the race before first corner...I hope tomorrow you will have more luck than today... I was so busy with McLaren this week that i didn't do even single lap with Dallara. So I better not try to race | |

| Good job Scott in the GMT 19:30 race. Nice third place and 136 championship points!
I really hate starting second in a rolling start. I have no idea when to go with my narrow field of view. This time the leader took a slow start and I was well ahead of him so I had to slow down. But by doing that I also lost 3 positions... | |

| It's nice to see our guys finish well .Scott was finally lucky enough to race without problems (obviously rant from yesterday was worth it ) I'm trying to get used to lower fov and one of the first things that boders me is flying start. It's really hard to see when you can start accelerate . But in the other hand it's much easier to brake ,turn and accelerate at the right time. | |

| Scott got a good finish (2nd) in the real GMT 19:30 race as well (the earlier was really GMT 17:30). Didn't take long for him to get back to business and fight for podium places! He beat me in both races and took home good points. For a small bonus I was able to make a new world record time in the second race, but otherwise this was not a good week for me. | |

| But to own world record it's a great achievement My last race this year was disaster. I lost control ,spun and get direct hit to rear wheel from car behind. But that's the price of learning new car i guess . | |

| Yeah and sometimes it doesn't even have to be a new car when it happens. | |

| If I'm starting second I always make sure to hang back slightly and/or keep my line close to pole so I can keep part of the car in my fov. Not the best solution of course, since you're unlikely to make any sort of run at 1st, but at least you're less likely to get caught napping | |
