| Hi guys,
I read in a Portuguese Forum a rookie dude asking about "auto-blip" and "auto-clush". The answer from a experiente driver was like this:
"...Use these aids costing you a lot of time. Once you can accustom yourself to drive without them, turn off them"
I'm using Auto-Clush and also Auto-Blip....and you?

| Yeah using those aids cost you some time. I recommend that you stop using them. Even if you don't have a clutch-pedal you can use a button clutch. And most of the cars in iRacing can be driven without a clutch if you learn to blip the throttle.
But the mclaren for example has an intelligent gear box that takes care of everything so you don't need clutch otherwise than in the starts.

| Hmm if i'm not wrong auto blip and auto clutch only effects car with normal transmition (Mazda, Mustang.... ) Cars like Dallara , McLaren, FW31 have semi gearbox so auto bllip has no effect.
I have auto blip turn on auto clutch off.

| Yeah it might be that with those cars it makes no difference. Nevertheless, I suggest setting everything off - at least it can't do any harm and with cars that require the blip it's better to learn blip yourself and not use the aids. Blipping is not hard at all. | |

| I don't think they had those options in the sim when I started so I never used them. I had a G25 back then anyway so I had a real clutch pedal to use, these days I only drive the dallara and FW31 so I still don't need them! | |
