first race

just raced this car for the first time tonight, and it certainly went nothing like i had expected! i almost didn't race since my qualifying time was 3+ seconds off the pace, and figured i would be lucky to even finish on the lead lap if i did. luckily the race split, though, and i ended up starting second! by turn 1 i was in the lead and stayed there the first 2/3 of the race. might've been able to hold on for the win but i lost track of my braking markers and put myself off, letting the guy in 2nd past. still, not too bad for my first attempt i'd say. now i just need to find some speed in the car and get closer to the fast guys!

I will try my first race this week @ Zolder. But i better find some stable setup for this track fast. I guess I will have enough troubles just to learn the car

still working on that myself, though it's rather hard given the limited amount of free time i have these days. i should be able to get some practice in this week but won't be able to race since i'm off on vacation over the weekend.

i have take setup from iracing forum. Guy who made it has done lap in 1.13.9xx with this setup. My pace is way off at the moment. The best time i did so far was 1.16.9xx :S I guess my biggest trouble with this car at the moment is grip... there is so much more grip then with McLaren and i found out that i take corners way to slow.
Otherwise this car is really fun to drive ! I hope i will soon learn how to drive it fast .
